My professional experience

 

I am a GMC registered Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with several years of clinical experience in supporting children, young people and their families to overcome a wide range of challenges and mental health issues.  

 

I completed my degree in Medicine and Specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry in Italy and retrained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust rotation. 

 

I currently lead a multidisciplinary team in a specialist Eating Disorder Outpatient Clinic for the NHS, but I have a specific interest in ADHD and extensive experience in assessing and treating a range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Autism, OCD. I am also qualified in the use of standardised tools for assessing Autism Spectrum Disorders, the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation schedule).  

 

I am actively involved in teaching and research and currently completing a doctorate (MDres) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London (Eating Disorders Group, Psychological Medicine Department). I have also published a number of peer reviewed articles and chapters and have presented my work both nationally and internationally.
